The Breeders Bonus will be paid over and above the advertised stakemoney and is additional to any other bouses or stakemoney that may be earned.

For example, a Vicbred horse that wins a $6,000 2yo race in 2010/11 would earn a breeder's bonus of $600 for the lucky breeder and HRV would pay out $6,600 for the race.

Vicbred Breeders Bonuses are dependent only on lodgement of the relevant foal notification / eligibility fee and not on payment of any subsequent Vicbred Acceptance fees.

This season's Vicbred Breeder Bonus winners

The Vicbred Breeder's Bonus is a montary payment equal to 10% for 2yo's and 3yo's and 7.5% for 4yo's of the total advertised race stakemoney and will be paid wholly to the breeder of an eligible Vicbred horse that wins any 2yo, 3yo or 4yo race in Victoria and any 2yo, 3yo or 4yo Group Race in Australia.
