The $1,000,000 Inter Dominion Final will be run at Perth’s Gloucester Park tomorrow night. After three rounds of heats, the best 9 horses will compete to become the Inter Dominion champion.

Of the nine finalists, only two of them are Australian bred ~ Lombo Navigator and Crombie. Both of course are Vicbred.

Lombo Navigator is by the very much underrated stallion Million To One. By Falcon Seelster, he is the sire of over 170 winners and 20 $100,000 earners. Lombo Navigator is his highest earner with his other top performers including Lombo Mandingo, Rich And Spoilt, Buck The Odds, Leilani Lombo and Lady De Beau.

The dam of Lombo Navigator is the Perfect Art mare Lombo Anastasia. She raced only once for a 5^th at Narrogin and Lombo Navigator is her first foal. She is out of Princess Talaria which makes her a half sister to the $120,000 earner Oztreos.

As his names suggests, he was bred by Lombo Standardbreds and sold at the 2008 WA National Sale for $9,500. With earnings now over the $330,000, it has proven to be an astute investment.

The other Vicbred finalist is the Life Sign stallion Crombie. Life Sign has similar figures to Million To One with 221 Australian bred winners including 14 $100,000 earners. Cromibe is his highest earner but other notables include For Dear Life, Real Life, Life Inthefastlane and Left In Paris.

Crombie is the first foal of the Walton Hanover mare Medea Me and her only winner to date. Bred by the Chambers family of Kyabram, she is related to their other top performer, the Group One winner Fernlea.
